#SettersStandStrong Letter Campaign
Want to help boost morale within the Pace Community? Join our letter writing campaign! To help boost spirit, Student Affairs is looking for staff and faculty members who might be interested writing a letter or letters to some senior students.
In normal times, we would be gearing up to celebrate the many accomplishments of the Class of 2020 in person, with spectacular Commencement celebrations worthy of our students' hard work and diligence. Outgoing seniors would be living out their final weeks on campus, gearing up for the opportunities and challenges ahead. Of course, the pandemic has made it impossible for the Class of 2020 to experience this time in typical fashion.
To help boost spirit and overall morale, Student Affairs is looking for staff and faculty members who might be interested writing a letter or letters to some senior students. The letters are intended to provide our amazing students a boost in this turbulent time—just a little something to let them know we are still here, we still care, and we are thinking of them.
If you would like to participate, please email Erika Schmid, and include the name of the student or students you will be writing to if have one in mind. If you would like to participate and don’t have a specific student in mind, Student Affairs, can assign someone to you. The goal is to reach as many different students as possible.
Student Affairs asks that at the bottom of the letter you write something along the lines of “We are all in this together, please join us in spreading positivity by writing a letter to another Setter #SettersStandStrong”. If you have stamps at your homes it would be great to put a stamp in the envelope that way all the recipient has to do is write in order to reach another student.
