Help End Hunger in Westchester
The Miles for Meals 5K is on Sunday, September 22, on the Pleasantville Campus. The Center for Community Action and Research is looking for volunteers; come and show your support for a worthy cause!
Calling faculty and staff volunteers! Did you know that 1 in 6 American children may not know where their next meal is coming from? Or that each year, more than 40 million Americans struggle with hunger? We invite you to join the Center for Community Action and Research (CCAR) in supporting Feeding Westchester at their 5K fundraising event, Miles for Meals, held on the Pace Pleasantville Campus on Sunday, September 22.
Feeding Westchester’s mission is to end hunger in Westchester County. To assist with this admirable goal, the Pace Community is encouraged to help their fundraising efforts by cheering on runners from 8:30 a.m.–11:00 a.m., or assist with clean-up from 11:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. This is a fun and easy way for faculty and staff to give back to the community, all while enjoying the breezy early autumn weather!
