Women's Sports Roundup (PLV)
Women's soccer, volleyball, and more are off to impressive starts this season. Help them keep up the momentum this week with an action-packed slate of games in Pleasantville!
Women’s Soccer vs. Merrimack College
Wednesday, September 14 | 6:00 p.m. | Pace Stadium
Come on down to Pace Stadium and watch the Setters take on the Warrior of Merrimack College. Pace has gotten off to a great start this season, and looks to continue their winning ways on their home turf following a winning campaign down in Florida.
Women’s Volleyball vs. Mercy College
Friday, September 16 | 7:00 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
After a slew of games on the road to open the season, Pace will look to bump, set, and spike their way to victory against the Mavericks of Mercy on their home turf. The Setters will hope to keep up their early season momentum, and show the home crowd that this is sure to be a special season of Pace Volleyball.
Women’s Volleyball vs. Westchester University
Saturday, September 17 | 12:00 p.m. | Goldstein Fitness Center
Who’s up for a double-header? Get some sleep, and head back to Goldstein to cheer on your Setters during part two of their home stand—this time against the West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
Women’s Field Hockey vs. Saint Anselm College
Saturday, September 17 | 1:00 p.m. | Peter X. Finnerty Field
After starting the season with a thrilling overtime victory against highly ranked Bloomsburg University, the Setters Field Hockey team takes on the Hawks of St. Anselm College on a September Saturday afternoon. With summer ceding to fall, this will be a perfect opportunity to cheer on your Setters before the frost settles in!
Women’s Soccer vs. Bentley University
Saturday, September 17 | 3:30 p.m. | Pace Stadium
Before hitting the road yet again, Women’s Soccer will take on their NE-10 rivals Bentley. In a battle of Setters vs. Falcons, we’ll be hoping Pace has got enough bite and bark to temper those feisty talons on the Bentley side.
Women’s Cross Country at Queensborough Invitational
Sunday, September 18 | 10:00 a.m. | Van Cortlandt Park
Want to meet up with some friends on the other campus and watch your fellow Setters run impressive distances at an impressively fast (no pun intended) pace? The Bronx’s Van Cortlandt Park, the largest park in New York City, happens to be conveniently sandwiched between the Pleasantville and New York City campuses. Meet up, make a day of it, and get inspired to train for that next 5K!
