Build Android Apps with MIT App Inventor (NYC)

A lot of us have had ideas for great apps bouncing around in our brains, but lack the skills necessary to bring our ideas to life. Whether you’re a novice techie, an entrepreneur, or just an Android phone owner, in this workshop you’ll learn all about the Android development as well as design and code your own Android app! Join us for this exciting event to mark the end of the Computer Science Education Week. The showcase will cover the work of the high-school participants in the STEM Women Achieve Greatness (SWAG) workshop, as well as the projects of the Seidenberg students in the IT capstone course this fall semester. A panel of women executives in technology will feature insights regarding the role that education and gender have played in their career experiences.
