From Halloween parties to prepping yourself for the real world, the NYC Campus has events to help you celebrate the holiday and then get in the zone to land your dream internship.

Monday, October 31

Legend Yearbook’s Halloween Mixer
11:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. | One Pace Plaza, Student Union | NYC Campus
Head over to Legend Yearbook’s Halloween mixer that is sure to be a graveyard smash. Enjoy free food, music, games, prizes, and more.

How to Work a Career Fair
12:10 p.m.–1:10 p.m. | Lecture Hall North
Elevate yourself by learning how to create a 30-second pitch and present yourself when meeting recruiters. Register on Handshake.

Halloween Bash
6:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. | Student Union | NYC Campus
You don't have to leave campus to trick or treat or dress up! Spend your Halloween with SDACA as they host a Halloween bash featuring a photo booth, free food, trick or treating, face painting, pumpkin carving, plus a hypnotist/mind reading show by Robert Channing. Wear your best Halloween costume for a chance to win some Pace swag.

Wednesday, November 2

Business Strategy and Data Science Case Competition Briefing and Networking Reception
6:00 p.m.–7:30 p.m. | Bianco Room
Publicis senior executives will be speaking to Pace students and faculty about Publicis' partnership with the university, job prospects for qualified students in the coming years, and skills and competencies sought in candidates vying for a position at Publicis. Case competition details will be presented by Tim Rich and Chirag Piparia from Publicis. The evening will conclude with an interactive networking reception with Publicis executives, Pace faculty, and students. Do not bring resumes to this networking reception. Score a hot date for a great cause! Join the sisters of Sigma Delta Tau in their annual Halloween date auction. All proceeds go to Prevent Child Abuse America.

New York City Fall 2016 Internship Fair

The NYC Campus is gearing up to get you in front of employers looking for star interns! Come to the New York City Fall 2016 Internship Fair to meet with employers hiring for a variety of majors. Make sure to bring several copies of your resume, dress for success in professional attire, and get ready to make those important networking connections. This event is open to all students. More than 50 companies have registered including Dow Jones, Warner Music Group, KPMG, IBM, and much more.

CHP Primary Health Care: Striving for a Culture of Health

Lienhard School of Nursing is celebrating its 50th anniversary and to commemorate, they are holding a conference to address elements in achieving health, access to health care, social issues as they relate to health care, availability of nutritious foods, and much more. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about improving health, gain tools for relating primary health care principles into their work, and more. For a full agenda, click here.

Diwali
7:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. | 163 William Street, 18th Floor Banquet Hall
Celebrate the end of Diwali—the brightest of Hindu festivals—with a delicious Indian buffet, music, performances, and a happy celebration dedicated to enjoying life. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased here.

Step and Stroll Showcase
8:00 p.m.–12:00 a.m. | One Pace Plaza, Bianco Room
Step into the Bianco Room and support Pace’s talented step and stroll teams in their annual “pretty and unruly” competition. Admission is $5 and proceeds will go to a charity of the organization’s choice.

Saturday, November 5

NYCOS Tenth Winter Cultural Exchange Festival: “The Wild Boar Forest”

The New York Chinese Opera Society will present this festival celebrating the aesthetics of Chinese opera and the cultural exchange between Americans and the Chinese. To purchase tickets or learn more, click here.

Harlem Grown
10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. | Meet on Campus
Go on an awesome adventure up to the gardens of Harlem! Students will participate in activities ranging from appropriate farm and greenhouse maintenance, to compost processing/turning, mulching, raking, weeding, watering, planting, or transplanting.
