Spotlight on Clubs: 808s
The 808s on the Westchester Campus are more than just a stellar step team—they are a family that encourages students to follow the beat of their own drum and express themselves through rhythm and dance. Don’t miss a beat by reading up on the team in this Q&A!
You may know the 808s Step Team from their electric performances on the Westchester Campus, including their show-stopping routine that won them first place at the Step and Stroll competition during Homecoming 2015. Since 2011, they have been injecting rhythm, movement, and the art of step dance across campus and invite students to join their family whether through busting a move or offering support at events.
Step behind the curtain in this Q&A with 808s President Ashley Hinkson as the team gears up to compete for the first place title again at Step and Stroll on Thursday, October 8, at 9:30 p.m. in the Goldstein Fitness Center.
