Rub Elbows with Media Bigwigs
The One Day Immersion Conference in TV, Cable, and Digital Entertainment--featuring HBO chairman and CEO Richard Plepler--returns to Pace on Friday, October 21, in NYC.
The One Day Immersion (ODI) in TV, Cable, and Digital Entertainment collegiate conference, in association with the Lubin School of Business, will be held on Friday, October 21, from 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. at the Schimmel Center on the New York City Campus.
The conference—which will feature the likes of HBO, NBCUniversal, iHeartMedia, and Comcast—will provide students with a rare chance to learn more about the entertainment industry through panel discussions, networking opportunities, and much more! The conference will be highlighted with a keynote speech from Richard Plepler, chairman and CEO of HBO. Plepler, who become HBO head honcho in 2012, is the man responsible for greenlighting Game of Thrones, among a number of other business-savvy decisions.
The ODI conference provides students with a unique opportunity to connect and network with some of the industry’s brightest thinkers. All in all, it is your chance to learn, grow, and make contact with people and ideas that may very well jumpstart your career.
The conference is free for college students, faculty, and recent graduates, and will also be made available for live-streaming on alternative viewing platforms. Register for the conference here.
