PLV/NYC Leadership Excursion

Register by February 12 to attend Pace’s first ever PLV/NYC Leadership Excursion to Washington, DC from February 24–26, 2017.

Are you a leader on your campus? Want to become a better leader for your peers? Attend the first ever Pace University PLV/NYC Leadership Excursion. This year, students will travel to Washington, DC on a weekend excursion from February 24–26, 2017

The various monuments, museums, and attractions make it a perfect location to delve into the concepts of leadership, civic responsibility, and community. This opportunity will allow you to understand the significance of what it means to be a civically responsible citizen and how to bring back what you take away to assist the communities you are a part of with other Pace students.

The purpose of the PLV/NYC Leadership Excursion is to take students outside the Pace University community to learn about leadership concepts that effect our development as active community members. It is our hope that on the excursion you will interact with the community, learn about your own leadership abilities, and be able to create change in your own communities you are a part of when you have returned.

Applications are due February 12 by midnight and can be found on OrgSync.

If selected, there will be a mandatory pre-trip meeting on February 15 from 12:10 p.m. to 1:10 p.m. for PLV/NYC students (location TBA). There, you will learn what you will need to bring for the trip and have prepared, and what the weekend schedule/itinerary will look like.
