Pave the Way Through Research
Interested in collaborating with a bright mind? Apply for the undergraduate student/faculty research program grant for summer 2017 or academic year 2017–2018. Applications are due May 15.
For more than 100 years, research has been a cornerstone of the Pace University educational experience and the growth of the institution over time. Now's your chance to help expand on that legacy, and apply for a grant for the 2017–2018 undergraduate student-faculty research program, sponsored by the Office of Student Success.
Whether your speciality is management science or sociology, there's a space in this program for you—this year's student-faculty reserach collaborations include studying cell mutations to reduce epilepsy, a game theory analysis of the hearsay rule, and researching the relationship between student technology use and academic performance.
Research pairs can apply for a summer 2017 grant, an academic 2017–2018 grant, or both. In addition to whatever independent conference and presenations student-faculty pairs wish to pursue, the research will culminate in a poster presentation showcase on campus in May 2018. Pairs who wish to learn more about this particular aspect can attend this year's showcases on May 4 in NYC and May 8 in Pleasantville.
Want to work with an undergraduate student? Fill out the application form on the Office of Student Success website no later than Monday, May 15, 2017.
