Pace Goes Pink (PLV)
We love you blue and gold, but we think we need a little break. Join the women’s soccer, volleyball, and field hockey teams as they pink up the Pace and raise money for breast cancer.
One of the most popular athletics campaigns, Pace Goes Pink, is back for its 5th annual year to raise money for the Northern Westchester Hospital Breast Institute in honor of breast cancer awareness month.
The Pace football team kicked off the campaign on Friday, October 2, and now it’s time for women’s soccer, volleyball, and field hockey to go pink.
Dig pink? So does the volleyball team who will host their Dig Pink event on Friday, October 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the Goldstein Fitness Center.
Women’s soccer is up next looking to kick cancer to the curb at their Tuesday, October 20, matchup against Adelphi at 7:00 p.m. at Pace Stadium
Finally, field hockey sticks together for their battle against SCSU and cancer on Tuesday, October 27, at 4:00 p.m. at Finnerty Field.
At each game, student-athletes and coaches will wear pink apparel in support of breast cancer awareness. The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be selling Pace Goes Pink t-shirts with proceeds benefitting the Northern Westchester Hospital Breast Institute.
Coming soon: Spiking and Super-Man. Kills and Catwoman. Volleyball hosts Super Hero Night on Friday, October 30, so put on your capes and spandex and head to the Fitness Center for some fun costumes and candy, pizza, and more.
