Take a course, learn a skill, become an engaged and informed member of the Pace Community. Here’s the information you need to participate in Staff Development Day on June 5.
Join Organizational Learning and Development for University-wide Staff Development Day on June 5 at the White Plains Graduate Center. All Pace University staff and faculty are invited to participate in a large selection of training programs being offered by various Pace departments, and the Academic Federal Credit Union, CIGNA, and TIAA-CREF. This event will consist of concurrent sessions throughout the day; come for one or stay for all of them.
Programs being offered include:
- >> Presentation Skills
- >> Coping with the Challenges of Caregiving
- >> Creating a Caring Campus with Step-UP!
- >> Advanced Functionalities of MS Excel
- >> Tools for Managing Stress
- >> Smoking Cessation and many more!
For the first time, we will be introducing a new University-wide service excellence initiative and facilitating a panel discussion about world class customer service, from 1:00 p.m.–2:00 p.m. in the auditorium. Panelists will include Pace alumni who have professional experience in organizations recognized for their high levels of customer satisfaction, including ADP Payroll Services, Enterprise, Hilton, and Nordstrom. All are welcome to attend. Please register for this panel as you would for a training program.
