Leadership and Service in Technology
On Monday, May 16, Seidenberg will honor COO of Medidata Solutions Michael Capone ’93 at the 21st annual Leadership and Service in Technology Award Reception.
Each year the Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems hosts the Leadership and Service in Technology Award Reception to honor an outstanding individual or company who best exemplifies leadership in the field of technology by demonstrating a commitment to development, innovation, research, and application.
On Monday, May 16, Seidenberg will present Chief Operating Officer of Medidata Solutions Michael Capone ’93 with the Technology Leadership Award at the 21st annual Award Reception, being held at 6:00 p.m. at Club 101, located at 101 Park Avenue. Robert B. Darnell, MD, PhD, founding director and CEO of the New York Genome Center, will deliver this year’s keynote address.

Michael Capone brings a unique blend of client-facing operational experience and strong technical knowledge to his role as head of operations at Medidata. In his capacity as COO, Capone oversees delivery of all of the company’s products and services, including product management, software development, data science, professional services, and marketing.
