ITS Time to Connect
It’s all about getting connected. ITS has updates about building your course schedule, important information about Blackboard, upgrading your e-mail, and more!
Here’s some important news and notes from our friends in Information Technology Services:
Plan Your Future Schedule
Trying to build your course schedule? That’s where Schedule Planner comes in. Build, modify, and save course schedules in real-time based on anything from group activities, to work schedules, to study days.
This useful tool can be accessed on the portal in the Students tab, under Registration and Grades. For more info, visit the Schedule Planner website.
Blackboard is also taking some time to regroup over the winter break. Here are some important dates to look out for:
-Fall 2015 courses will be unavailable beginning Wednesday, December 23, at 12:00 p.m.
-Any courses that run during winter break will become available on the course start date, as defined in the banner
-Spring 2016 courses will be available on the course start date, as defined in the banner, or as early as Monday, January 11
Pace is upgrading all student e-mail accounts to Exchange 2013 server, which is scheduled to begin in February. You’ll receive a notification from ITS before and after the upgrade takes places, along with additional steps to ensure your e-mail has migrated on all your devices. For more details, click here.
Real-time news, real-time learning. NBC has partnered up with Blackboard to create a bank of stories, images, and primary source documents available on-demand for the Pace Community. Now, you and your instructors can incorporate NBC Learn into everyday classroom activity.

Complete Those Course Evaluations!
For anyone taking Dyson and/or Lubin classes, take note—course evaluations for fall 2015 will be available from Sunday, November 29–Sunday, December 13. In addition to helping provide highly important feedback, be sure to complete your evaluations within the above timeframe. Students who do not complete their course evaluations will be unable to receive their fall semester grades until Friday, December 25.
