Information Sessions on the Executive Orders and their Effect on Immigration
The Immigration Justice Clinic at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law will conduct information sessions on the Immigration Executive Orders on February 6 and 9 on the NYC Campus.
On January 30, President Friedman sent an e-mail to the Pace Community regarding the Executive Order on Immigration, and the University is working to provide the Pace Community with resources on this continually evolving situation.
The Immigration Justice Clinic at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law will conduct information sessions on the Immigration Executive Orders. The sessions will focus on topics including the immigrant travel bans, rights of refugees, immigration policies, the significance of the federal courts' preliminary injunctions regarding the travel bans, and DACA, and will be followed by a Q&A. Sessions will be held on the NYC Campus as follows:
Monday, February 6, 2017
11:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Thursday, February 9, 2017
Information sessions are being planned in Pleasantville as well. The Pace Community can check the The Office of International Students and Scholars website for updates at www.pace.edu/immigration-updates. For additional information about the information sessions, please contact Vanessa Merton, professor and director of the Immigration Justice Clinic, at (914) 422-4330 or via e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org.
For any other questions, contact Barry Stinson, assistant vice president of Pace International, at (212) 346-1692 or via e-mail at email@example.com.
