#GivingTuesday: Thank You!
Pace University’s #GivingTuesday was an enormous success and we are truly grateful for everyone who participated to make it possible.
Now in its fourth year, #GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
In case you missed it, Pace University’s Office of Development and Alumni Relations surpassed both their original #GivingTuesday goal of $25,000 and their stretch goal of $50,000!
The team raised $102,698 in one day, a remarkable achievement that displays the immense strength and generosity of the Pace Community. Together, we set a new Pace record for #GivingTuesday!
In addition, the University’s trustees have generously agreed to match every gift made to the Pace Annual Fund now through December 31, 2015, up to $220,000. With nearly two weeks until the end of the year, we are more than half way to our goal!
Help us reach this ambitious goal by including Pace in your end-of-year giving and support an area of the University most meaningful to you. Gifts made now through December 31 will have double the impact for Pace students.
