Cue the 80s band and the big guitar solo—finals have arrived! With some help from the Tutoring Center, Library extended hours, and more, here’s exactly how to tame that ferocious finals beast.
It may not be your favorite part of the year, but it’s definitely essential. Here are some resources that’ll prevent you from singing those finals blues, and truly get you in that finals groove!
For Your Reference: Extended Library Hours (NYC and PLV)
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…for spending extra hours at the library. Especially because both the Birnbaum and Mortola libraries will be offering extended hours for the final exam period.

The NYC Tutoring Center has extended their hours—including Sundays!—and is offering tutors in the dorms to help you ace your finals. Sunday tutoring hours are held in the Library from 2:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m., with courses including accounting, chemistry, economics, math, and more. For more information on NYC tutoring, click here.
In Westchester, the Tutoring Center (located in room 309 of the Mortola Library), will be open Monday through Thursday as well as Sunday for students looking for guidance in topics ranging from chemistry to business to math, with language tutoring also available. Fill out your course evaluations before Sunday, December 13—Dyson and Lubin students are required to do so, as any student who does not participate in course evaluations will be unable to view their grades until two weeks following the close of the semester.
