Susan Katz returns for her second David J. Pecker Lecture where she will address the changing nature of the young adult market and the success of Veronica Roth’s Divergent series.
Susan Katz, retired president and publisher of HarperCollins Children’s Books and David J. Pecker Distinguished Visiting Professor of Publishing, returns this month with her second David J. Pecker Lecture. On Thursday, April 28, Pace’s MS in Publishing Program invites you to join her for a discussion on the changing young adult market and how it has grown and evolved. The lecture will cover the audience for these books, the types of authors who are enjoying success, and specifically the story of the Divergent series by Veronica Roth, which has sold tens of millions of copies.
Katz was formerly President and Publisher of Harper Collins Children’s Books. She was appointed to that position in 1996 and has spent 28 years professionally committed to publishing and HarperCollins.
