Pace University faculty and staff share their expert opinions on the republican and democratic conventions, issues stemming from police brutality, and contemporary cybersecurity concerns.

Dyson Professor and Director of Clinical Field Supervision Joseph R. Franco, PhD, LMHC, NCC, was recently awarded the 2016 Outstanding Counselor Educator Award by the New York Mental Health Counselors Association (NYMHCA). This award is given to exemplary educators who demonstrate commitment to the profession and to his or her graduate and/or doctoral students.

Dyson Professor Thalia Goldstein, PhD, was featured in a New York magazine article for her research in regards to children’s beliefs in Santa Claus. She was also on PBS’ WHYY in a segment highlighting the relationship between acting and everyday life. 

An upcoming book written by Elisabeth Haub School of Law Professor Linda Fentiman, LLM—about how blaming mothers has been incorporated into basic legal concepts—was referenced in a NorwichBulletin.com article.

Dyson Professor Kim Collica-Cox, PhD, who is spearheading a pilot program in which Pace’s Department of Criminal Justice and the Good Dog Foundation are partnering to work with therapy dogs to assist female inmates, was featured in the New York Daily News.   

Elisabeth Haub School of Law Dean David Yassky, JD, was interviewed in the Huffington Post about the tragedy in Orlando and the legal politics surrounding an assault weapons ban.

Dyson Professor David Caputo, PhD, was quoted in Variety, the Houston Chronicle, and the New York Daily News, to provide commentary surrounding this month’s developments in political media.

Lubin Professor Randi Priluck, PhD, published a textbook called Social Media and Marketing Strategy.

Seidenberg Professor and Director of Cybersecurity Darren Hayes, DPS, was featured in an SC Magazine article about hacking and the democratic and republican conventions.

Dyson Professor Melanie DuPuis, PhD, was interviewed by Heritage Radio Network about the importance of milk as a staple of the American diet.

Dyson Professor Andriy Danylenko, PhD, was featured on the Poland Fulbright website, reflecting on his time as a Fulbright Research Fellow.

Dyson Professor Darrin Porcher, PhD, was on Fox 5 News and NY1 to offer insight on the recent tragic incidents of police brutality and targeted shootings.

Dyson Professor Brice Particelli, PhD, was published on long-form journalism publication The Big Roundtable. The article is about Particelli's experience paddling through the Bronx River.

School of Performing Professor Lee Evans, EdD, was featured in the July/August 2016 issue of Clavier Companion Magazine for his article “Music Notation: A Brief Look at its Historical Evolution.”
