Family weekend comes to Westchester. Attend an open house, get lucky at casino night, and introduce your family to the wonderful world of Pace.
It’s about that time—for your family to come to campus, maybe make embarrassing comments to your new friends, and get in on the fun. Westchester Family Weekend runs from November 5–6, and boy have we got a great schedule for you!
Saturday, November 5
9:00 a.m. | Kessel Student Center, Dean’s Lounge
Get everyone checked in, and all ready to go for the fun ahead.
10:00 a.m. | Gottesman Room
Enjoy a continental breakfast with our featured speaker, Pace President Stephen J. Friedman. The breakfast will also include a tribute to our senior students and the families that have helped make their impending graduation possible.
Schools' Open Houses
Choose from the following schools' open house events, which provide a glimpse into all the exciting things students are doing in the classroom:
Dyson College of Arts and Sciences
See How Countries Work Together at the United Nations, Interactive Session | Willcox Lecture Hall
Pace’s award-winning Model United Nations team will lead this open house and interactive mock simulation, where students will help show attendees the inner-workings of the United Nations. Teams of Pace students will act as delegates for various nations as they discuss a pertinent world issues with one another—with the intention of crafting a resolution to the problem at hand. Learn how, through extra-curricular activities such as Pace’s Model United Nations program, students learn important skills such as public speaking and diplomatic problem solving, and are able to put their theoretical classroom learnings into practice.
Lubin School of Business
Negotiating Successfully with Others (Including Your Student) | Location TBD
Management Professor Melissa Cardon, PhD, will give you a glimpse into what students learn in her advanced managerial negotiations course by discussing types of conflict you and your student may experience while in college and beyond. Students and family members will simulate a potential conflict situation, and walk through potential, effective tactics.
School of Education
Team SOE | Kessel Student Center, Setters Lounge
Learn what it takes to join team SOE, and the fulfilling road to education tomorrow’s bright young minds. Math, science, history, or English teachers are all welcome to score a career touchdown with the School of Education.
Seidenberg School of Computer Science and Information Systems
Scavenger Hunt and more | Kessel Multipurpose Room
If learning isn’t always fun, nobody has told Seidenberg! Join the computer science and information systems school for a morning filled with puzzles, mazes, cyberspace capture the flag, and an outdoor scavenger hunt. All activities are tied together with a cybersecurity theme, but don’t worry—no prior knowledge of hacking is required. Be sure to stop by for the fun, and for the chance to win a number of cool prizes.
Football vs. Stonehill College
12:00 p.m. | Pace Stadium
Come support the football squad on the final game of the season as they look to ground the Stonehill Skyhawks. This game marks the annual tradition of Senior Day—and to honor the student-athletes who have dedicated part of their undergraduate experiences to Pace Setters Football, the first 500 fans in attendance will receive limited-edition rally towels!
Little Pups Program

Arts and crafts, and entertainment for the little pups—families with younger children.
