News Story

On November 14–18, International Education Week will take you around the world with a week’s worth of events from abroad opportunities, to festivals, to film screenings on the NYC and PLV campuses.

A joint initiative of the US Department of State and the US Department of Education, each year International Education Week promotes programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Monday, November 14

Language Lunch

Pajama Party: Girl Rising Screening

Put on your coziest pajamas and enjoy popcorn with a screening of Girl Rising, a documentary about the journeys of nine young girls around the world struggling to get an education.
