Tuesday, September 6

Seeing with Class of 2020 vision? Join fellow freshmen for Pace’s Ninth Annual Convocation—an exciting ceremony that sets the tone for your upcoming years at the University. Hear from fellow students and keynote speaker Hillary Knepper, PhD, and enjoy a free lunch following the festivities at 1:00 p.m. Learn more here.
Campus Involvement Fair
2:30 p.m.–4:30 p.m. | Alumni Lawn
Meet the dozens of student clubs and organizations that fill the Pleasantville Campus with events, programming, and life. From reporting for The Pace Chronicle newspaper, to finding your rhythm with the 808’s step team, there’s something for everyone. Week of Welcome (WOW)

Get WOWed by all that Pace has to offer at the Week of Welcome Program! As a new student, you will participate in activities, events, and presentations introducing you to the campus, your peers, and your community for the next four years. Today’s events include Convocation at Goldstein Fitness Center, lunch with faculty at 1:00 p.m., Campus Involvement Fair at 2:30 p.m. on Alumni Lawn, a mall trip and open house tours at 3:30 p.m., and concludes with a Zumba class at 4:30 p.m. in the Aerobics Room of Goldstein Fitness Center.
Wednesday, September 7

It may seem like the freshmen are hogging all the attention, but sophomores, it’s your time to shine! Celebrate making it through your first year and transitioning into the new semester by picking up a free t-shirt to show your sophomore Pace pride.

In need of a little cash flow to get you through the semester? Come to the job fair to check out open positions in departments on the PLV Campus and local employers looking for part-time workers.

Summer has come and passed, which means the five orientation sessions on campus have passed as well. Missed the chance to attend? No worries! In a one-hour session, our orientation staff will help you get acquainted with our campus layout, other new students, and learn about all of Pace’s services and programs from your peers and faculty in a fun and welcoming environment.
Field Hockey vs. Adelphi

Field your desire to catch a game and cheer on the Setters at home as they take on Adelphi University, which was one of six teams to qualify for the 2015 NCAA Field Hockey Championship Tournament.
Alumni Hall Opening Program

You may be a few years off from alumni status, but did you know Alumni Hall houses about 95% of Pace PLV’s first-year students and is home to First-year Interest Groups (FIGs)? Come together with the Alumni Hall community and get to know each other through a series of fun activities and stations.

Setter Leadership Initiatives Opening Reception

Longing to be a leader? The Setters Leadership Program is a premier, three-tiered program specific to the PLV Campus. Students in this program attend several workshops and seminars specifically targeted to developing leaders. Attend this opening reception and learn how to get involved!

Are you ready for some football? In their first home game, the Setters will take on Assumption College. A special ceremony honoring the softball championship ring will take place at halftime.

Dreaming of the concrete jungle? There’s nothing you can’t do now that you’re at 42nd Street in PLV. There will be music, food, airbrush art, caricatures, and performances. Get a taste of the Big Apple right in your backyard.

Race for the Cure

Race for the cure in Central Park! Last year Pace had the largest team from a university or college with 120 participants. Register here for $45 and commit to running cancer out of town.

Who let the dogs out? Alpha Chi Rho on Miller Lawn! Join the brothers of AXP and the SPCA of Westchester to help pets find new homes in our local community.
City Saturday: Brooklyn Bridge
12:00 p.m.–4:00 p.m. | PLV Train Station
Put on your walking shoes and get ready to conquer one of NYC’s most exciting and scenic spots. At a little more than a mile in length, a walk on the Brooklyn Bridge will provide an amazing Snapchat story, unforgettable memories, and leave you with enough time to explore all that Lower Manhattan and DUMBO have to offer.
IFC Philanthropy Dinner

Join the Interfraternity Council (IFC) at Pace for a feast fit for a fraternity! This fun, banquet-style dinner complete with karaoke will inform new potential members on the different philanthropies for which each organization fundraises.
