Schaeberle Studio Theatre

Pace University's Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts has been an integral part of the lower Manhattan community for 25 years. Its 743-seat theatre — located on Spruce Street between Park Row and Gold Street, near the foot of the Brooklyn Bridge — is the largest in Lower Manhattan.

The Center is an active partner with the Tribeca Film Festival, the River-to-River Festival, and the New York International Fringe Festival.

Pace University's downtown campus is served by at least 12 subway lines, and numerous bus routes. For detailed travel information, please visit our directions page.

Attend a Live Taping of Inside the Actors Studio

LOBBY: March 14 - May 5
Installed in the lobby of the Michael Schimmel Center for the Arts at Pace University, this provocative installation is part of an international project that The Washington Post has called “charged” and “striking” and The Sydney Morning Herald has described as “subtle and beautiful,” and is a result of a collaboration between Pace and The University of Technology, Sydney, and the Daneyal Mahmood Gallery in Chelsea.
